Which businesses can switch water retailer
Most business customers in England have been able to choose their water retailer since April 2017. Scotland runs its own business water market, and eligibility in Wales is limited.
That is why we don't promise that every enquiry can switch. Some businesses will be in a position to move retailer; others will only be able to review their current account, check their charges or tidy up meter and billing details. Your first call confirms which applies.
If you only serve customers in England, tell us and we limit the campaign to English postcodes. If you also work in the Scottish market, we can run that as a separate campaign so the landing page wording fits.

Call quickly, confirm the premises and the current retailer, and be clear about what the business can and can't change.
Owners often don't know that they can choose a water retailer, or they assume it works exactly like energy. A short, accurate explanation on the first call builds trust. Ask for a recent water bill so you can see the retailer, the charges and the supply point details before you prepare anything, and record the outcome in the shared sheet so your team can follow up.
